Leadership takes nerve. It demands a willingness to risk comfort, acceptance, and peace-of-mind, in order to find or create something that will impact people like nothing else ever has before.
Even as a pastor, I am having to think beyond what has been done and reach deep into the caverns of my imagination for ideas inspired by God to change people’s lives. At times I am too tired, weak or overwhelmed to do this properly. Therefore, I must find time to be still with the Lord and ask Him for inspiration that only comes from His divine intervention.
Bold leadership dares to keep going when others have already said:
“I give up.”
“This is all we’ve got.”
“I guess we’ll just do this again.”
“That’ll never work.”
