The stars were shining bright as I looked to the sky tonight. I could not help but be mesmerized by the glow that shined through the little pinholes in the darkness. The child within me could only wonder what was on the other side shining through. My mind races and my soul became fascinated by the mystery of God. Is that my heavenly father on the other side as I hide under this earthly blanket?
It is moments like these that I remember there is nothing greater in this life than to probe the limits of the almighty and to fathom the mysteries of God (Job 11:7). I live to know God. Then as I continue to grow in my love for my creator, I go to a lost world and strive to make Him known.
I heard a man once say “I wish I had more lives to live for God.”
However, since we only have one, I want to encourage those on the path with me, to never give up in their pursuit of God. We must continue to reach for the stars, never being satisfied with the lesser things of this world.
For all those that have not yet looked to the heavens, I pray that I can help lift your chin and point your eyes to God.
My prayer is that I will live a life enthralled by the mystery of God. I hope that my lifestyle will forever portray that I am living to know Him and to make Him known.
