Life has a way of stepping on its own toes.

This year was full of unexpected turns, peaks, valleys, and deep-sea explorations. We went places we didn’t expect to go. Did things we never dreamed of. Felt emotions we didn’t know we had. And yet, somehow in the middle of it all, I cherish what this year has been.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am not going to be the first to sign up to do it all over again, but there was something unique and sweet about it. One of the greatest byproducts of this year was the ability to draw close to the Lord in ways I wouldn’t have if life would have just been more of “the usual.”

Music is one of the ways I commune with God. It always has been. I wanted to share with you a few tracks that meant a lot to me this year. Perhaps they will encourage you too and give you sweet times of tears and closeness to Christ, as they did for me.
